The scope of the project is to obtain an improved wound dressing by functionalization with antibiotics and natural active substances for efficient management of chronic wounds. The model we intend to test and validate at laboratory level consist in surface modified wound dressings, containing antibiotics for reducing microbial contamination and natural active substances to favour wound healing.
